Jay is employed at Iowa State University as Director of E-SET and Associate Director of the Iowa Space Grant Consortium. He holds a bachelors degree in zoology from Buena Vista and a masters in science and education from Iowa State University. He has been involved with the ministry of ORC and BILD since the late 70's, being eager to follow the New Testament model for church life. He and his wife Dea have two children, Jennifer and Megan.
